Johns Creek voters have a short window to make a plan for the November 3 general and special election.

Fulton County’s advance-voting period begins Tuesday, October 13, and runs through Friday, October 30, giving residents more than two weeks to vote before Election Day.

The election includes a countywide transportation question about a proposed 0.75 percent Transportation Special Purpose Local Option Sales and Use Tax, or TSPLOST. The measure would apply to participating Fulton County jurisdictions and, if approved, would begin April 1, 2027.

Three advance-voting locations are especially relevant to Johns Creek residents: Northeast Spruill Oaks Library at 9560 Spruill Road, Robert E. Fulton Library at Ocee at 5090 Abbotts Bridge Road, and the Johns Creek Environmental Campus at 8100 Holcomb Bridge Road in the Johns Creek-area service zone.

Voters may use any Fulton County advance-voting location during the early-voting period, rather than waiting for Election Day and going only to an assigned precinct.

Regular advance-voting hours are 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, and noon to 5 p.m. Sunday.

Those hours make the first and final weekends particularly useful for residents who cannot easily reach a polling place during the workweek.

Election officials also list several sites with absentee-ballot drop boxes. Not every advance-voting location has a drop box, so voters returning a completed absentee ballot should confirm the correct site before making the trip.

The deadline to register to vote in this election was October 5. Voters who are already registered should verify their information and review the latest location details before voting, because election information can change and a familiar site is not automatically the correct one for every election.

For voters choosing Election Day instead, polls will be open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Tuesday, November 3. Election Day voters must report to their assigned polling location.

The county’s voter-information tools provide the most reliable way to check registration, voting locations, absentee-ballot instructions and any precinct-specific information. The Fulton Votes mobile app also provides location and election information, including advance-voting sites.

The practical takeaway is to choose a voting day before October 13 arrives, then confirm the location, hours and identification requirements immediately before leaving.

For Johns Creek residents, the nearby Spruill Oaks and Ocee library locations are the clearest starting points, while the county’s full list can help anyone compare sites near work, school or another regular trip.

Use Fulton County’s official early-voting locations page for the current site list and hours, and use the county election portal to review the November 3 election notice and absentee-ballot guidance.
